Court construction and resurfacing in Kansas

Kansas City on the Kansas side, Wichita, Topeka, Lawrence and statewide. We have already walked court sites in Johnson County, and we price Kansas park and school court work from the same playbook as our Texas and Oklahoma projects: post-tensioned builds, Laykold resurfacing and honest repair scopes.

What we do in Kansas

Tennis, pickleball and basketball courts

  • Tennis courts. New post-tensioned courts, acrylic resurfacing, crack repair, repaints and restriping, indoor and outdoor.
  • Pickleball courts. Dedicated facilities, tennis to pickleball conversions, resurfacing of courts that have cracked or delaminated.
  • Basketball and multi-sport. Park and school court resurfacing, multi-sport striping, VersaCourt modular tile.
  • Full court facilities. Post-tensioned slabs, drainage, fencing, lighting foundations and surfacing as one contract.

We build and resurface courts across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, and Kansas using Laykold, the official surface of the US Open. We just finished all 18 courts at the University of Oklahoma's Headington Tennis Center, 12 outdoor and 6 indoor, and the complex was just named a 2026 USTA Outstanding Facility.

Work in Kansas

Kansas standing

We bid Kansas city, county and school district court work as it is published and have walked court sites in Overland Park. We have not yet completed a project in Kansas; our completed work, including the 18-court program at the University of Oklahoma, takes reference calls.

What Kansas owners run into

Kansas municipal resurfacing bids are competitive and public, and they reward a clear scope. Our proposals spell out preparation, crack treatment, coats, lines and what stays open while we work, so your evaluation is apples to apples.

Public buyers

How Kansas agencies, schools and universities buy from us

Bidding. We respond to Kansas city, county and school district solicitations as prime on court work, and as a court subcontractor to general contractors on larger park projects. Tell us the agency and we will register on your portal.

Cooperative contracts. Kansas public bodies that participate in national cooperatives such as Sourcewell or OMNIA Partners can buy Laykold systems through the manufacturer's contract, delivered by EliteTrax as an authorized dealer.

Registrations. SAM.gov and agency bid portals. Legal entity Los Verdes Hermanos LLC, dba EliteTrax Sports Surfaces.

Public bid results in our footprint show winning prices for a plain acrylic resurface on existing courts spanning roughly $6,700 to $16,000 per court on jobs of 4 to 16 courts, with single-court jobs higher. Those are other owners' awards, not our pricing; see the budgeting guide for the sources. Send photos and an address for a number for your courts.

How a project runs

Five steps, one point of contact

You deal with the person who can commit the company. No call center, no layers.

1

Assessment

Send photos and an address, or we walk the site. We look at the slab, cracks, drainage and fencing before anyone talks price.

2

Scope and budget number

A line-item proposal: what is included, the system by name, what happens with cracks, and a realistic number you can plan around.

3

Schedule

Acrylic goes down at 50 degrees and rising, so we set a window that fits the season and your calendar.

4

Install

Preparation, repairs, surfacing and striping to the manufacturer specification, with daily photo records on every public project.

5

Walk and closeout

You walk the courts with us before final acceptance. Outdoor courts are ready to play 24 hours after lines when nights stay above 60 degrees.

Common questions

Kansas court questions

Have you built courts in Kansas?

Not yet. We have walked sites in Johnson County and bid Kansas work as it is published. Our completed projects, including all 18 courts at the University of Oklahoma, take reference calls.

Can you keep some courts open while you work?

Yes. At OU six courts stayed in play throughout an 18-court program. If your solicitation requires courts to stay open, we sequence the work around it and say so in the proposal.

Do you do pickleball in Kansas?

Yes. New dedicated courts, tennis to pickleball conversions and resurfacing of existing pickleball courts, in Laykold or VersaCourt tile.

When is the resurfacing season in Kansas?

Acrylic needs 50 degrees and rising at the surface, so roughly late April through early October outdoors, and year-round indoors.
