Maximum Versatility. One Surface.

Outdoor Multipurpose Court Construction

Combine Basketball, Pickleball, Tennis, and Volleyball on a Single High-Performance Acrylic Surface.

Why limit your property to just one sport when you can have them all? A custom multi-sport court maximizes your square footage, providing the ultimate recreational hub for families, master-planned communities, and commercial resorts. At EliteTrax Surfaces, we design and build versatile, multi-purpose outdoor courts engineered to deliver professional-grade ball response and uncompromising traction across multiple sports. While our concrete coatings division proudly services the local North Fort Worth area, our specialized outdoor court construction crews travel statewide across Texas and into neighboring states to build premier athletic investments.

Ultimate Property Utility: Seamlessly transition from morning pickleball matches to afternoon shooting drills and evening volleyball games without needing multiple dedicated slabs.

Intelligent, Color-Coded Striping: We use a strategic, multi-colored line layout system. By using distinct, high-contrast colors for different sports (e.g., crisp white for basketball and soft yellow for pickleball), players can instantly distinguish their boundaries without confusion.

True Multi-Sport Texture: We customize the silica sand aggregate blend within our acrylic color coats to strike the perfect balance—providing aggressive slip-resistance for basketball cuts while maintaining the optimal court speed required for tennis and pickleball.

Built for High-Traffic Use: Multi-sport courts see constant, high-traffic use. We mechanically profile every concrete slab using industrial planetary diamond grinders so our multi-layer acrylic system bonds securely, reducing the risk of future peeling, bubbling, or cracking.

Our Multi-Layer Court Surfacing Process

Four Precision Steps to an Unmatched Multi-Sport Surface.

We run heavy industrial planetary diamond grinders over the raw concrete slab. This mechanical preparation profile removes weak surface laitance and opens the concrete grain for a permanent bond.

We apply a heavy-duty primer and acrylic resurfacer layer to completely seal the concrete, block underground moisture vapor, and smooth out micro-textures in the concrete.

Our crew applies multiple layers of highly pigmented, UV-stable acrylic resins fortified with silica aggregate. This builds the durable, high-traction wear layer that defines the court speed and texture.

Using specialized, high-visibility textured line paint, our layout team hand-marks and paints the keys, three-point lines, and boundaries with absolute edge crispness and zero bleed.

Popular Multi-Sport Configurations

The Hoops & Short-Court Combo (Basketball + Pickleball): The ultimate backyard crowd-pleaser. We install an adjustable, commercial-grade in-ground basketball goal at one end of the court and map out a regulation pickleball layout within the same footprint. Removable net systems allow you to clear the court for full-speed basketball play in seconds.

The Full-Scale Racquet Setup (Tennis + Pickleball): Perfect for tennis enthusiasts who want to embrace the pickleball movement. We overlay one or two regulation pickleball courts directly onto a traditional tennis court layout, utilizing a blended line color scheme that preserves the classic tennis aesthetic while offering modern versatility.

The Ultimate Family Recreations Grid (Multi-Net Systems): Maximize your space with a custom-engineered multi-net setup. We install heavy-duty ground sleeves that accommodate adjustable-height net posts, allowing you to easily swap configurations for volleyball, badminton, short-court tennis, or pickleball.

Common Questions About Multi-Sport Layouts

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Won't all the different sport lines look confusing on one court?

Not when engineered correctly. We use an "intelligent striping" method where the primary sport (usually basketball or tennis) is painted in a dominant, high-visibility color like white, while the secondary sports (like pickleball or volleyball) are painted in distinct, slightly muted, or contrasting colors like soft yellow, light blue, or orange. This keeps the court organized and easy to play on.

  • How do the nets work on a multipurpose court?

We offer several highly efficient options. For basketball and pickleball combos, we can install heavy-duty ground sleeves for a heavy-duty, removable pickleball net system. When you want to play basketball, you simply roll or slide the net out of its sleeves. For volleyball and badminton setups, we utilize adjustable-height poles that can lock into place at various regulation heights.

  • What is the minimum size required for a multi-sport backyard court?

While a regulation tennis court requires a substantial footprint, a highly functional basketball and pickleball multi-sport combination can be built on a slab as compact as 30x60 feet. We specialize in custom tailoring layouts to perfectly fit your property's specific dimensions.

  • Do you install interlocking plastic court tiles?

No. EliteTrax Surfaces specializes exclusively in premium, multi-layer poured acrylic resin systems over concrete. Acrylic coatings are seamless, provide a uniform ball bounce across all sports, and don't create gaps where moisture, dirt, or pests can collect the way interlocking tiles sometimes can.

  • Can you convert an old, cracked tennis court into a multi-sport court?

Absolutely. We specialize in athletic court transformations. Our crew will route out all existing cracks, inject structural concrete menders, level any low spots or "birdbaths," and then apply our multi-layer acrylic surfacing system with your brand-new multi-sport layout.

  • How far does your sport court installation crew travel?

Our residential garage and concrete coatings division stays local to the North Fort Worth Metroplex (Trophy Club, Keller, Southlake), but our outdoor multi-sport court division travels statewide across Texas, as well as into Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, and Kansas.
