Professional Outdoor Athletic Surfacing

Outdoor Pickleball & Tennis Court Construction

Premium Multi-Layer Acrylic Surfacing Built to Withstand the Texas Elements.

A championship-caliber court requires precise engineering and elite materials. At EliteTrax Surfaces, we build and resurface high-performance outdoor pickleball and tennis courts for residential estates, private clubs, and public parks. While our concrete coatings division stays local to North Fort Worth, our specialized outdoor athletic court crew travels throughout Texas and neighboring states to deliver stadium-quality layouts. By combining heavy diamond-grind concrete preparation with professional multi-layer acrylic resins, we deliver an outdoor playing surface with optimal ball bounce, true spin, and superior joint protection.

Acrylic UV Stability: Our court surfaces use advanced fade-resistant pigments engineered to help maintain vibrant color and resist the chalking and bleaching caused by intense summer sun exposure.

Advanced Slip-Resistant Traction: We embed a uniform, round silica aggregate into the acrylic matrix. This ensures predictable multi-directional foot traction and consistent ball bounce, even in high humidity.

Structural Defect Repair: We don't just coat over damage. Our team routes, cleans, and injects industrial structural menders into concrete cracks and cold joints as part of a thorough prep process designed to reduce future shifting and surface issues.

The Multi-Layer Acrylic Surfacing Process

Four Steps to an Elite, Stadium-Quality Finish.

We utilize heavy planetary diamond grinders or shot-blasters to open the pores of the concrete slab, ensuring the raw polymer base layer locks deeply into the concrete grain.

A specialized moisture-cure barrier is applied to seal the slab, followed by an acrylic acrylic resurfacer base coat to smooth out minor concrete texture variations.

We apply multiple coats of highly pigmented, silica-fortified acrylic surfacing to construct the uniform texture layer responsible for traction, ball speed, and color depth.

Our layout specialists carefully tape and seal regulation boundaries before applying a high-visibility, textured line paint to guarantee zero bleed and perfect edge crispness.

Common Questions About Our Court Builds

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you build indoor courts or install hardwood gym flooring?

No. EliteTrax Surfaces specializes exclusively in outdoor athletic court surfacing using premium, weather proof acrylic resin systems. We do not install indoor hardwood floors, rolled rubber, or modular plastic tiles for indoor gyms.

  • How far does your sport court installation crew travel?

While our concrete floor coatings division operates locally in Trophy Club, Keller, and Fort Worth, our specialized outdoor sport court division travels statewide across Texas and into Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, and Kansas.

  • Can you fix an old, cracked court or do you only surface new concrete?

We provide complete court rehabilitation. Our team power washes the existing slab, routes out and injects structural menders into deep cracks, levels out low spots where rainwater puddles, and applies a brand new multi layer acrylic system to restore true playability.

  • How long does the outdoor court surfacing process take?

The physical application of a multi layer acrylic system typically takes three to five consecutive dry days, depending on the court size and weather conditions. Once the final regulation boundary lines are painted, the surface requires 48 hours to fully cure before active competitive play.

  • Will the intense Texas heat cause the court colors to fade or peel?

No coating is completely immune to years of Texas sun and heat, but our acrylic and polyaspartic systems use UV-stable resins and pigments engineered to resist fading and chalking far longer than untreated concrete or lower-grade coatings. We recommend a gentle yearly rinse to keep colors looking their best.

  • What is the difference between a standard slab and a cushioned court?

A standard court applies the textured acrylic color layers directly over the primed concrete foundation. A cushioned court introduces multiple layers of flexible rubber particle membranes beneath the color coats, which absorbs joint impact and reduces player fatigue during long matches.
