Elite Athletic Infrastructure
Outdoor Sport Court Construction & Resurfacing
Turnkey Tennis, Pickleball, Basketball, and Multi-Sport Court Engineering Built to Endure the Texas Elements.
An elite sport court is a significant property investment that requires precise grading, heavy-duty structural concrete, and specialized multi-layer surfacing. At EliteTrax Surfaces, we build and resurface stadium-quality outdoor athletic courts for luxury residential estates, master-planned communities, parks, and commercial athletic complexes. While our concrete coatings division stays local to North Fort Worth, our dedicated sport court construction crew travels completely statewide across Texas and into neighboring states to engineer high-performance athletic hubs.
Industrial Mechanical Bond: We never apply premium sports finishes to raw, unprepared concrete. Our crews utilize heavy planetary diamond grinders to open the pores of the concrete slab, ensuring our multi-layer acrylic systems permanently fuse to prevent future peeling, bubbling, or delamination.
Pro-Grade Traction & Texture: By suspended-mixing uniform, fine silica sand aggregates directly into our UV-stable acrylic color coatings, we deliver an aggressive, slip-resistant grip that provides elite foot control for quick cuts, drives, and volleys.
Vapor Barrier Protection: Texas soil retains massive amounts of subterranean moisture. We integrate advanced water vapor barriers into our base layers to block upward hydrostatic pressure from blistering your court's surface.
True Ball Performance: From basketball bounces to high-speed tennis volleys, our multi-layer systems are engineered to minimize dead spots for a more predictable, uniform ball response across the layout.

Our Comprehensive Court Surfacing Process
Four Steps to a Premium, High-Performance Athletic Surface.
We route out all structural concrete cracks, clean them completely, and inject high-strength menders. Low spots and "birdbaths" are patched and leveled to create a perfectly flat canvas.
This mechanical preparation helps our multi-layer acrylic systems bond securely to the concrete, reducing the risk of peeling, bubbling, or delamination over time.
Structural Prep & Crack Repair
Diamond Grinding
Multiple coats of highly pigmented, UV-stable acrylic resins fortified with silica aggregate are applied to build a thick, durable, and highly vibrant wear layer that resists fading in the sun.
Our layout specialists hand-measure and paint boundary lines using specialized, textured line paint to guarantee absolute edge crispness with zero bleed or overspray.

Common Questions About Sport Court Construction
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you handle the actual concrete pouring, or just the color coating?
We offer completely turnkey solutions. We handle the entire project lifecycle—including site excavation, sub-base preparation, structural steel reinforcement rebar, deep footings for net posts/hoops, and pouring the heavy-duty concrete slab—before moving into our signature multi-layer acrylic surfacing phase.
Can you resurface an existing asphalt or concrete pad that has cracks?
Absolutely. Athletic court restoration is a big part of what we do. We repair structural vulnerabilities and low spots before overlaying our multi-layer acrylic system to help the court look and play like new.
What type of daily maintenance do these outdoor courts require?
Very little. Our high-performance court surfaces are engineered to be low-maintenance. Keeping the court clear of standing water, leaves, pine needles, and loose debris with a leaf blower or a soft-bristled broom is usually all it takes. We also recommend a gentle pressure washing once a year to keep the colors looking stadium-bright.
How far does your sport court construction crew travel?
While our residential garage floor and concrete coatings division stays tightly local to the North Fort Worth Metroplex (Keller, Southlake, Trophy Club, Colleyville), our specialized sport court construction division is fully mobile, traveling completely statewide across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, and Kansas.
How long does it take to construct a brand-new court from scratch?
A turnkey build from raw ground to final paint lines typically takes 3 to 4 weeks, depending on weather. This timeline includes excavation, pouring the concrete, allowing the concrete slab to fully cure for a mandatory 28 days to release moisture, followed by 3 to 5 days for the multi-layer acrylic surfacing and line striping.
Can you install custom lighting systems for night games?
Yes. To help you get the most utility out of your investment, we can trench and install commercial-grade, low-glare LED sports lighting systems during the structural construction phase. These systems are specifically designed to illuminate the playing lines perfectly without casting harsh shadows or blinding players looking up for a ball.
